Labyrinth of Desire

labyrinth_4

We entered the labyrinth of desire together.

Each of us thinking that we knew the way out.

I followed you but you lead me deeper inside.

I tried to forge a path out

and found you at my heels still.

We are lost in our longing;

we have become one with the maze.

    A amazing poem. Good to get lost and find a good place to rest.

    Wow! This is amazing. I do feel trapped in a Labyrinth of Desire…darn it!

    Love that last line. The poem gives me the feeling of wanting to be lost in that maze. A beautiful creation with words.

      thanks for taking the time to read my poetry. Part of me wishes to stay lost in that maze forever; another part of me hopes to find the way out…

        You’re welcome. Well, it seems the grass is always brown on the other side but we take it for green. I think it also depends who else is in the maze with you. In life, we’re always torn in multiple directions. You’re probably right in how you feel. Sometimes it is best to stay in and at other times it is best to get out. The in-between is probably the way to follow.
